Berberaap, Gibraltar.

Niet zoals het zou moeten zijn, maar makaken blijven makaken. Altijd nieuwsgierig en op onderzoek , want er zou toch eens iets …

In mijn jeugd ging ik al regelmatig naar dierentuinen, ook op vakanties in het buitenland werden dieren- en botanische tuinen bezocht. Fotografie en dieren bleek de juiste combinatie voor mij te zijn. Natuurlijk wilde ik de dieren ook in hun eigen omgeving zien en daardoor zijn de (verre) reizen er bij gekomen.

I always loved to go to zoos, on holidays abroad we also visited zoological and botanical gardens. Photography and animals was the right combination for me. And of course I wanted to see them in their natural environment, so travelling was the next step.
